We are very fortunate at Aintree to be able to offer emotional support therapy for our patients with head and neck cancer.
The role of an Emotional Support Therapist, is to support and help patients so that they move towards a more relaxed, positive and happy way of living. When cancer has been diagnosed, most people become anxious or afraid. This is only natural, they will experience a range of emotions from fear and anxiety to grief and vulnerability.
