SKYDIVE FOR HaNC

Skydive For HaNC

A challenge of a lifetime for sixteen brave participants who on Sunday 13th July 2025 will be leaping from 15,000ft in a tandem skydive in aid of HaNC and the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre.

As part of fundraising for 2025, we are organising a sponsored Skydive for a number of our clinicians, patients and supporters, who will experience the thrill of a freefall tandem dive from 15,000 ft in order to raise funds for HaNC.

100% of all sponsorship funds raised will go directly to HaNC to help support the research work of the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre.

They will skydive with Skydive Northwest – also known as the North West Parachute Centre – who are one of the longest established skydiving and parachuting centres in Europe.

Set in the beautiful Lake District amongst some of the finest scenery in England they boast excellent facilities for new and experienced skydivers. What a better thing to do of a Sunday morning!!!

HaNC is a group of head & neck cancer patients and carers in the Merseyside and Cheshire regions, who got together to provide mutual support and to assist clinicians at the Liverpool Neck and Neck Centre in all aspects of their research.

The Liverpool Head and Neck Centre is an internationally recognised clinical and research hub into diseases of the head and neck, which aims to deliver world class services in patient care and quality of life.

The number of Head and Neck cancer patients has grown considerably over recent years, and therefore the need for more research funding continues to be an urgent priority.

All funds raised by HaNC are used to support the research work of the Liverpool Head and Neck Centre into the better understanding of the causes of Head & Neck cancer, the impact of treatment and to improving the patient experience.
